Social and environmental responsibility

A modern port is born

A story built on investment in infrastructure, operational innovation, and a commitment to the logistical development of Amazonas.

A modern port is born

Super Terminais began operations on October 4, 1996, in Manaus, on the banks of the Negro River, in the Colonia Oliveira Machado neighborhood. Its creation took place in the context of the Port Modernization Law (Law No. 8,630/1993), which allowed private terminals to operate in Brazil.

With experience in transport, logistics, and warehousing, the Di Gregorio family invested in creating a terminal focused on serving shipping lines and developing logistics in the Amazon region.

Strategically located about 20 minutes from the Manaus Free Trade Zone, the terminal was designed to deliver greater efficiency in cargo handling. In its early years, operations were carried out by transshipment using tugboats and barges in the Ro-Ro Caboclo system, until the port infrastructure was consolidated.

Commitment to the community

Through the Porto e Comunidade program, Super Terminais develops initiatives focused on environmental awareness and the well-being of populations living around the port.

The program promotes educational talks, health initiatives, and seedling distribution, encouraging sustainable practices and environmental care.

Educandario Gustavo Capanema

Super Terminais is the main supporter of Educandario Gustavo Capanema, an institution that carries out important work in education and basic care for children in socially vulnerable situations in the region.

This initiative reinforces Super Terminais' commitment to social development and to improving quality of life in local communities.

Bois-Bumbas schools

Bois-Bumbas Schools

Super Terminais expands its commitment to the social and cultural development of the Amazon by supporting the bois-bumbas schools of the Parintins Folk Festival, one of the greatest symbols of regional identity. More than sponsoring the show that captivates audiences with the rivalry between Boi Garantido and Boi Caprichoso, the company invests in the foundation that sustains this tradition.

The initiative includes Universidade do Folclore Paulinho Faria and Escolinha de Artes Irmao Miguel de Pascale, spaces where children and young people develop artistic talent and strengthen their connection to local culture. By encouraging these activities, Super Terminais contributes to preserving Amazonian roots, promotes social inclusion, and supports the development of new generations of artists who keep the essence of the festival alive.
